C&K’s PWR series power push-button switch allows single-step processing of surface-mount device boards and is designed for demanding power applications. The RoHS-compliant and IP65-sealed switches feature redundant double-break contacts and provide good tactile feel with quiet detent. The momentary, single-pole single-throw switches feature an extended operating life of 100,000 mechanical cycles. The switches accommodate a voltage range of 20 V ac to 250 V ac, a current range of 10 mA to 2A, and a maximum contact resistance of 100 mΩ. The switches handle inrush loads up to 7 A. Nominal operating force is 7 N, and operating travel is 1.0 mm. Operating temperature ranges from -40ºC to +85ºC (-40°F to +185°F).
